Alexandru Stanescu is the Chief Legal Officer and Strategic Partnerships Lead of the GIN Platform, the pioneer of masternodes automatization (ginplatform.io). Alexandru worked and studied in a wide span of legal areas from banking, capital markets, EU consumer protection in financial instruments up to cross-border treaty and commercial arbitration. Alexandru worked as visiting lawyer in the London office of Baker Botts law firm covering arbitration and blockchain cross jurisdictional regulatory analysis. Prior to that, he worked for the World Bank in Trade and Competitiveness, covering competition, institutional change management, insolvency and ease of doing business policies. He clerked for the European Court of Justice and European Investment Bank. Alexandru was a Fulbright scholar and Wien Corporate Responsibility Fellow at Columbia Law School. He holds a tri-lingual MBA from Deusto University, Spain and a LLM and JD from University of Bucharest, Romania. In a nascent blockchain sector surrounded by cross-jurisdictional regulatory uncertainty, Alexandru combines policy making experience, law and business to foster the development and adoption of blockchain ecosystems. Alexandru is New York qualified lawyer and is fluent in Romanian, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
